Forest School Fire Update

By now I am sure you are all aware of the devastating news regarding our forest school. We have been overwhelmed by the kindness and support that we have received so far to ensure that the provision can be restored to its former glory. Sports City-Wheelchair Event

This week, two of our pupils were able to experience the excitement of attending a sports event hosted by Manchester City. They had access to the latest cutting edge technology enabling them to fully participate in a range of sporting activities such as wheelchair football, cricket and rugby. They were so impressed by our pupils they have promised to visit our school and bring the equipment with them so an even wider range of pupils can enjoy accessing sport!

Lost Property

As a parent myself I fully appreciate how frustrating and potentially expensive it is when a child loses their possessions in school. Although we do have a system of putting lost property in the hall on the stage this requires the pupil to be able to identify their belongings. Therefore we will also be offering a lost property collection session on the last Thursday of each half-term in reception from 2.30-3.15pm, I do hope that this will help!
