Castle Hill High School

Castle Hill Blog 12/12/25

This morning’s assembly delivered by the wonderful Mr Wightman brought our Christmas celebrations to a joyful crescendo. Pupils took part in a lively quiz. They also considered how they could be thankful and were encouraged to enter their thoughts in a competition, and they were treated to a surprise visit from none other than the Grinch himself! The mix of laughter and festive mischief made for an unforgettable finale to the term — oh, what fun indeed!

Christingle Creations!

Year 7 have had great fun making Christingle creations. These represent the world (the orange), the fruits of the earth and the four seasons (the sweets on cocktail sticks), and Jesus as the Light of the World (the candle). Together, the Christingle reminds us of the hope and joy at the heart of Christmas.
