Covid vaccine
Public Health Stockport are offering vaccinations to children aged 12 to 15 who did not receive the vaccination in school. Full details can be found here:
National Autistic Society accreditation
A few years ago we were the first school in Stockport to be accredited by the National Autistic Society and we're delighted to announce that, following a two-day visit last month, they've re-accredited us. Their report was packed with positive comments, such as:
'Staff make learning fun and provide appropriate challenge. They make excellent use of creative learning, motivating activities and opportunities to personalise learning in order to engage and enthuse students.'
'Relationships between staff and students are excellent.'
'Staff recognise the importance of working collaboratively with parents and carers.'
Stockport SEND Week of Action
Stockport SEND's third annual week of action begins next Monday and there is a full programme of events for parents and carers. Details are shown below. Please visit Eventbrite to book onto the sessions.
Children in Need
We had a number of student versus staff challenges in our assemblies this week, to raise money for Children in Need.... including Covid-safe apple bobbing! It's good to see that Miss Hill is such a good loser!!!
Have a great weekend!
