Castle Hill High School

Castle Hill Blog 21/11/25

This week's assembly was focused on the topic of rules and why they are an essential part of school life. The response from pupils was excellent; they listened respectfully and really engaged with the rationale behind some of the key rules we have in school to keep each other safe!

Online Safety Reminders

With increased use of digital technology, especially as winter sets in, it’s vital to reinforce online safety messages.

Scorching Scenery

Year 7 have been exploring different habitats in their Humanities lessons. Look at this magnificent drawing by Sky Lennox of her interpretation of a desert scene. I am sure that you are as impressed as I am with the level of detail and colours.

And Finally...

9K have been so busy this week planning a party for Gnomeo and Juliet. They explored the themes of the film: friendship, rivalry, and teamwork. They made invitations and shopping lists. They even had a pop‑up party shop where the pupils could use money to buy the things they needed. This was linking to the idea of resourcefulness and problem‑solving that Gnomeo and Juliet show when they try to overcome the obstacles between their two families.

They enjoyed the party so much more after all the hard work they had put in!

Have a great weekend!
