Castle Hill High School

Castle Hill Blog 27/06/2025

During today's staff training day we have been working hard as a team to ensure that our curriculum is inclusive. We have considered how important it is for all pupils to be able to recognise themselves within it and feel a sense of belonging. Staff have shown their enthusiasm and commitment to this vision and ethos of which I am extremely grateful.

Understanding Culture

Year 7 and Year 8 pupils welcomed a visiting guest speaker, (Nargis) this week. They learnt about the country of Pakistan, traditional dress, foods and religions. Pupils introduced themselves in Urdu, and greeted each other in Arabic. They also made their own bookmarks with their names written in Urdu.

Animal Magic!

Our Year 7s are learning about different animals, gaining an understanding of their behaviour, diet and environment. They thoroughly enjoyed our interesting visitors.

Magnificent Music

We are so very lucky to be surrounded by such passionate musical talent. It is a joy to hear and see the pupils' genuine love for the subject and the fantastic progress they are making.

Creative Art

I am always blown away by the creativity and technical capabilities of our pupils, they truly shine with their ability to produce art to such a high standard. Look at these brilliant pieces of work from Lexi and Madi!

Fond Farewell!

It’s that time of year again where we have to say Good Luck and Goodbye to our year 13 sixth form students and our post 18 Pre- Internship Students. They have all been a delight to have in the Sixth Form, and we wish them all the very best with their futures.

We also look forward to welcoming some of the Year 13 students back as Pre-Interns in September and two of our Pre-Interns back for a second year!
